Not mass marketing
Built for local relationships
National promotions are handled by your banner group, suppliers, and head office. PharmStack Local Marketing helps individual pharmacies build stronger relationships with the customers who actually visit their store.
Marketing for the customers who actually walk into your pharmacy.
- Birthday rewards
- Loyalty offers
- Thank-you discounts
- Goodwill gestures
- Local announcements
- Community campaigns
What Local Marketing is for
Reward loyalty
Birthday rewards, thank-you offers, and loyalty campaigns for the customers who already choose your store.
Recover relationships
Turn a complaint or bad experience into a positive outcome with a personalised offer, not a generic promotion blast.
Stay local
Reach the customers who walk through your doors. National catalogues and supplier promos stay where they belong.
Real pharmacy moments
Relationship-building actions, not generic promotions
Every pharmacy owner understands making things right or rewarding loyalty. Those are local relationships, not spring sales.
Make things right
Mrs Smith waited 45 minutes for a special order. Send her a $10 thank-you offer, issued from her customer profile, redeemed at the counter.
Reward loyalty
A patient has been a loyal customer for years. Send them a birthday reward that runs automatically for opted-in customers.
Goodwill after a slip-up
Someone had a delivery issue. Give them a goodwill discount with a clear record of what was sent and when it was redeemed.
Only to opted-in customers. You remain responsible for content and consent.
The problem
Owners don't wake up needing a campaign builder
They wake up wondering how to get customers back, reward loyalty, or make things right when something went wrong. Most tools are built for mass email, not community pharmacy relationships.
- Good intentions stay in someone’s head, no easy way to send a thank-you or goodwill offer
- Loyalty lists in the POS but no consistent way to stay in touch
- Generic email tools built for e-commerce blasts, not pharmacy relationships
- Offers sent with no simple redemption at the counter, or no record they went out at all
PharmStack keeps rewards, offers, and redemption in the staff portal, next to the workflows your team uses every shift.
What you get
Customer relationships, email is how they're delivered
Reward loyal customers and make things right
Offers and gifts: not just discounts
Attach an offer to a message, or issue one from a customer profile when your policy allows. Built for relationship-building, not mass promotion.
- Birthday rewards and loyalty discounts
- Thank-you offers and goodwill gestures
- Percent off, dollar off, free item, or custom offer
- Unique link per customer when sent from a campaign
- Expiry and terms you control
Best for: loyalty rewards, birthday thank-yous, recovering after a poor experience.
Redemption at checkout
POS first, then PharmStack: clear and auditable
Redemption is built for real pharmacy counters: find the offer by code, name, phone, or email; apply the discount in your POS; tap Redeem in PharmStack.
- Redeem from Marketing → Gifts & Offers, the customer profile, or Redeem offer on Home
- Same flow, wherever staff are standing
Best for: front-of-shop staff who need speed, not another system.
Email delivery
How local messages reach your customers
Email is the delivery mechanism, campaigns in a simple step-by-step flow: type, audience, content, schedule, review.
- One-off sends, now or scheduled for later
- Always-on messages, daily birthday rewards or end-of-month touchpoints
- Templates for announcements, loyalty reminders, and offers
- Audience estimates before you send
Best for: staying connected without a separate email platform.
Email activity
Know what sent: and what didn’t
After a message goes out, review delivery in one place.
- Queued, processing, sent, failed, cancelled
- Filter by recipient, subject, campaign, or status
- Job detail when you need to troubleshoot
Best for: owners and managers who want visibility without logging into a separate ESP.
Consent-aware by design
Local marketing stays separate from operations
Messages go to opted-in customers. Marketing sender is separate from your operational inbox. Loyalty and email opt-in live on the customer record.
- You stay responsible for content and consent, PharmStack gives you the structure
Important: Only send marketing your pharmacy is approved and permitted to send.
How it works
Gesture → inbox → counter → redeemed
Set up verified sending
Connect your pharmacy domain and sender details once. Local marketing email is separate from operational notifications, relationship messages don’t mix with clinic or workflow alerts.
Choose your audience
Send to loyalty customers who’ve opted in to email, or run birthday messages for customers with a birthday today. Audiences respect consent; you’re not blasting a generic list.
Create your message
Pick a template, announcement, loyalty reminder, or offer. Edit subject and body. For offers, attach a unique redeemable link per customer.
Schedule or send
Send now, schedule for later, or set an always-on message (for example daily birthday rewards or a monthly loyalty touchpoint).
Redeem at the counter
Customer shows their offer page or code. Staff apply the discount in the POS, then Redeem in PharmStack, from Marketing, the customer profile, or Home in two taps.
Review activity
See queued, sent, and failed emails in Email Activity, so you know the gesture actually went out.
How it fits with PharmStack
Not another tab, part of how the pharmacy runs
Local Marketing lives in the same staff portal as Core:
- Customers feed your audiences, addresses, loyalty, and opt-in
- Home can surface Redeem offer alongside tasks and orders
- Start-of-day reporting can include redeemable offers when relevant
- Special orders stay in Core, Local Marketing is for relationships, not order tracking
You don't need Local Marketing to run the pharmacy.
You add it when you're ready to stay connected with your local customers.

FAQ
- Do I need Local Marketing to use special orders?
- No. Special order tracking is included in Core. Local Marketing is for customer relationships, offers, rewards, and opted-in email to your local customers.
- Is this the same as national banner promotions?
- No. Franchisors and banner groups handle national campaigns, catalogues, and supplier promotions. PharmStack Local Marketing is for your store’s customers, loyalty members, birthday rewards, goodwill gestures, and local announcements.
- Who receives messages?
- Only customers with email addresses who have opted in, typically loyalty members. Birthday messages target opted-in customers with a birthday on the send date.
- Can I send a one-off offer to one customer?
- Yes. Offers can be created from a customer profile as well as from campaigns, for example a thank-you after a long wait or a delivery issue. Follow your store’s consent rules.
- How does redemption work?
- Staff find the offer, apply the discount in the POS, then mark it Redeemed in PharmStack. The offer must be issued or viewed, not expired, and not already redeemed.
- Is operational email included?
- Operational notifications (workflow and clinic email) are separate from Local Marketing. They use the same email infrastructure but serve a different purpose and audience.
- What counts toward the 5,000 emails?
- Marketing campaign and offer emails to customers. Operational notifications are not billed as marketing sends.
- Are there setup fees or contracts?
- No setup fees. No long-term contracts. Cancel anytime.
